Confession of Sin

You see all things.
We have sinned against you
in thought, word, and deed.
Blot out our transgressions,
be merciful to us sinners,
and grant that our names may be found
written in the book of life,
for the sake of Christ Jesus our Savior.
Amen.

Living by the Grace of Christ

O Lord,
grant that we may live our life here
without trouble and in security,
and enjoy eternal life
by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory and might
together with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
now and forever.
Amen.

A Prayer for Help in Troubles

antifonariodelec3b3n1O Lord, you have preserved us during the labors of the day.
Guard us through the dangers of the night.
Let your Holy Spirit watch over us,

through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

A Prayer for Peace

antifonariodelec3b3n1O God, all good things come from you.
Strengthen your people against all troubles
and fill them with your peace,
so they may worship you with a quiet mind,
and forgetting all earthly troubles,
may give you honor and praise;
through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.

Move Us to Reflect Your Faithfulness

Lord God, heavenly Father,
we praise and bless you
for the many blessings you share with us.
Move us to reflect your faithfulness,
since you have abundantly fed and nourished us;

Walk with Us

antifonariodelec3b3n1Jesus, our Master,
meet us while we walk in the way,
yearning to reach the heavenly country;
so that, following your light
we may keep the way of righteousness,
and never wander away into the darkness of this world’s night,
while you, who are the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
are shining within us;
for your own name’s sake.
Amen.

God, Our Refuge

Eternal God,
the refuge of all your children,
in our weakness you are our strength,
in our darkness our light,
in our sorrow our comfort and peace.

May we always live in your presence,
and serve you in our daily lives,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Turn Our Eyes from Vain Things

O Lord our God,
make our hearts obedient to your will;
turn our eyes away from vain things,
that, free from the world’s attraction,
they may always look on your glorious beauty.
For you are our God,
the God of compassion and salvation,
and we glorify you,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
now and for ever,
to the ages and ages.
Amen.

Creator, Watch over Us

Creator of the universe, watch over us
and keep us in the light of your presence.
May our praise continually blend
with that of all creation,
until we come together to the eternal joys
which you promise in your love;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your Word is Our Light

O Lord, you have given us your Word
for a light to shine upon our path;
grant us so to meditate on that Word,
and to follow its teaching,
that we may find in it the light
that shines more and more until the perfect day;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
