Ascension Day Acclamation

Ascension_Painting.png

The Lord ascended into heaven
so that he could send
the Comforter into this world.

Today the Father receives again to his side
the One who was in him from all eternity.

O you nations of the earth, clap your hands,
for Christ has gone up
to the place where he had been from all eternity.

  1. Thanks for this different perspective on Ps 24. I may never read it the same way again. Also, I’ll probably use this one on my blog in 3 weeks. Eric
