Deliver Us from Eternal Death

Lord God, heavenly Father,
you sent your Son to be made flesh,
that by his death he might atone for our sins
and deliver us from eternal death.
Confirm in our hearts
the hope that our dear Lord Christ, who
raised the widow’s son with a word,
will raise us on the last day
and give us eternal life;
through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one true God, now and forever.
