Pentecost 21

O Lord Jesus Christ,
make us live sober,
righteous and godly lives in this present world
as we expect the blessed hope
and your glorious appearing.
May we run in the way of your commandments,
and receive your heavenly promises;
through your mercy, O our God,
you are blessed, and live and govern all things,
now and forever.
Amen.
