Pour Out the Light of Your Truth

We give you thanks, almighty God,
that you have delivered us from the darkness of the night
and now shine on us with the light of day.
Pour into our hearts
the pure and serene light of your truth,
that we may avoid the darkness of sin,
and always know and follow you,
the eternal Light;
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
