Peter and Paul

On June 29, the Christian church remembers St. Peter and St. Paul, who witnessed Christ by their preaching, their letters, and finally by their deaths.

Sts Peter and PaulO Lord God,
we humbly thank you
that you have spread abroad
the Word of your Gospel
over the whole world
through your apostles,
and have showered your grace upon us.
Uphold us by the teaching
of your holy apostles
and give us your Holy Spirit,
that we grow and remain in him;
through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
